What’s truly intriguing about the attacks over the weekend, wasn’t the attacks themselves — but the responses to them.
Just before I got off the plane, a bomb went off in New York and nobody knows exactly what’s going on, Donald Trump said at a rally in Colorado Springs, Colo., Saturday night. The Republican presidential hopeful also hinted that he knew something about the cause of the explosion. It’s a terrible thing what’s going on in our world, what’s going on in our country, but we are going to get tough and smart and vigilant and we are going to end it, Trump said. There had been an explosion in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan at about 8:30 p.m. local time. The blast blew out windows in the area and injured more than 20 people, though there have been no reported fatalities. The GOP nominee was then scolded by the press and by his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton for saying that it was a bomb and implying that it was terrorism. Trump made the statement before local officials had publicly confirmed details of the incident or what caused the explosion. Typically, national political figures use caution when describing unfolding investigations and law enforcement actions, reported CNN.
An explosion that injured at least 29 people in New York City late Saturday appeared to be an intentional act, Mayor Bill de Blasio said, as sources told Fox News a second device — a pressure cooker — was found four blocks away.
First I want to say, or ask, how does a bomb going off not be intentional? How long are we going to be talked down to like we are all fools? People can not understand why Trump looks so apeling, turn on any mainstream media outlet, and that question is answered. Will the administration call it what it is? Terrorism! The way Hillary addressed the news, was scripted, was without feeling and without urgency. We are to worried about insulting religion and race it is killing us. We should be outraged and I do not understand why so many are not. We need to take our country back! ” We the people,” needs to mean something again. We have to stop focusing on a spoiled football player who won’t stand for the best flag in the world and focus on real-world issues.
Mr. Trump, at a rally on Friday, escalated his attacks against Mrs. Clinton, saying that “she is being so protected.”
And you would not lose one voter if you shot someone on Fifth Avenue.
I can not vote for either one of them. Heck, I was so excited when our election process started, I really could not wait! I love this stuff. I am a news and political junkie. Trump and Clinton sucked all the joy our of it for me. I have not been able to write about it. Ok, to be fair I have been dealing with health issues also. It has made writing so very hard. And anyone who knows me knows writing is a major passion of mine and has been since I was around eight years old.
I finally came to the conclusion I have to suck it up and write! I am already regretting not writing about the election. I am not going to let my dislike or illness get in the way of my passions! To me, it means I have been given up. Cancer will not take anything else away from me, not without a fight.
Donald Trump’s evangelical adviser is courting Christian voters with a new theory: God “raised up” the Republican nominee to win the presidential election. In fact, former Minnesota Congressman and former Tea Party darling Michele Bachmann is pulling out all the stops, including citing scripture to get the American heartland onboard the Trump train.
Michele Bachmann, you really can not believe this. This is a man who said, he never asked God for forgiveness because he has not done anything to ask for that forgiveness. Is there anything more to say?
“I write fabulous letters. You would love them.”

I think it is too late. What did the GOP think would happen? Super Tuesday is tomorrow, tomorrow people! I have said all along, I do not get it, I can not comprehend what people see in Trump? People are angry. Hey, I am angry too. Trump is saying what so many are thinking. It does not mean Trump will make a good President. Be a spokesperson for the American people. He could make such a big difference if he is serious about helping without being President. What will he do if he does not win? Will he still be there for those who looked to him for help?
CNN is the only news outlet coming out and reporting on the negatives of Donald Trump. Fox, is reporting that CNN is looking for ratings, they are a failing Network. What the heck Fox? For years, I have defended Fox! Fox was the one Network that held my views and values. That is of the Republican Party and conservatives. What is the pass you are giving Trump? What are you doing Fox? What is the hold Trump has on the Press? It is just not Fox News. MSNBCs Morning Joe. It is hard to tell the two apart.
If Trump gets the nomination the GOP is over as we know it. If Cruz gets the nomination he will bring the Party back to what it was, to what it is supposed to be. If it is Rubio, the Party, at least, stays as it is. I do think Rubio will make good changes. But can he make those big changes we need as a country?
If we truly want change, it is not going to be easy. The saying, “if it sounds to good to be true” still applies. We did not get into this mess overnight. There is a desperation in both Parties. Desperation its self, cannot make good choices. We need a leader. We are at a tipping point in America. Trump or Hilary will be a disaster to our way of life. And can we recover, I do not think so.
I blame the schools for not teaching our Constitution, not teaching our great history. I blame the schools for not teaching why America is already the greatest Country. And what makes us the greatest Country. We need to tell stories. Tell the stories of our founding fathers, tell the stories of the Civil War. I have learned more out of school than I have ever learned in school. And when I was in school it was just the beginning of being so politically correct that we are throwing our Nation away.
So, is it too late? I do not know. The people screamed for a king, so they got a king. I pray we do not get a king.
Come on! Why has the media allowed this asshole a free pass? We are going to let the media elect another president. I will vote democratic for the first time in my life. Maybe I do not even vote? This is unreal.
Almost as soon as Donald Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee Democrats will surely cut their negative ads.

We have been waiting for the onslaught and it has not come. We need one of the mainstream media to start. I think when one media outlet starts calling Trump out, the rest will follow. I have no idea why everyone has given Trump a pass. And we are watching and waiting for the circus to end and the train wreck to began.
